The Director of People & Organizational Development is responsible for overseeing the People & Organizational Development (POD) shared services team, which consists of Professional Development Managers, Human Resource Managers and Instructional Designers, and serves the Audigy membership. They are responsible for evaluating organizational processes and operations, as well as developing and implementing organizational changes, while promoting quality and efficiency through continuous improvement. The Director and all members of the POD team are member-facing and work toward the goal of improving the performance and alignment of our members’ teams, resulting in retention and increased revenue. This department is shared between Audigy Group and Audigy Medical with the Director overseeing all strategic and tactical people-based initiatives. The POD team’s focus is on the employee life cycle from recruitment to onboarding, training, development, and retention. The Director is responsible for shaping the department in a way that allows for duplication, expansion, and scalability while retaining membership and growing revenue through increased effectiveness and shared service utilization.

- Responsible for leading the development and management of all current and future learning programs for Audigy, under the guidance of the Department Vice President or assigned Executive
- Oversight and development of member Human Resource services
- Development and innovation of current and future member programs
- Development of services through the employee life cycle and the integration of professional development and human resource function
- Positively impact flow and conversion metrics in member practices
- Support member goal attainment
- Improve leadership and team alignment in member practices
- Develop an asynchronous computer-based learning model to increase scalability and productivity
- Assess current programs and optimize outcomes
- Develop new programs to meet the needs of the collective membership
- Provide HR compliance support to members proactively
- Maintain detailed knowledge of member KPIs, the Audigy data warehouse, and the drivers that impact results
- Responsible for presenting at trainings and member events
- Provide coaching as needed for members
- Maintain full knowledge of Strategic Business Unit operations and member integration
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills navigating at all levels of the organization
- Experience in training, coaching, and facilitating all levels of adult learners
- Minimum of three years in a leadership position
- Proven mastery of enterprise-level programs
- Understanding and ability to apply the ADDIE model for instructional design
- Knowledgeable in asynchronous computer-based training theory, methods, and best practices
- Strong business acumen with an in-depth understanding of performance metrics
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office, etc.)
- Able to think on their feet and respond quickly and eloquently under pressure
- Ability to navigate member needs and support any position within the POD team
- Working knowledge of organizational HR compliance needs
- Ability to consult on employee relations and employee performance coaching methodologies
- Understanding of compensation management, planning, and administration
- Experience in talent management and acquisition
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study (business, psychology, human resources, etc.); equivalent work experience may be substituted
- Demonstrated experience in public speaking; facilitating presentations and training to both small groups and large audiences (required)
- Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership role, including direct supervision of a team (required)
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing data to drive performance metrics and informed decision-making
- Work in office is required, with occasional hybrid work permitted
- Travel required – up to 30% as needed for member events and trainings
- This is a full-time role Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate member events and trainings)
