Job Responsibilities
- Manage the exchange, collaboration, and coordination of BIM data with consultants, contractors, other stakeholders, and the internal team.
- Lead in BIM implementation, Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies during project design, construction, and handover.
- Conduct clash detection between electrical/mechanical systems and building components and resolve issues using tools like Navisworks or similar software.
- Actively promote advanced and innovative BIM-based methodologies towards integrated practice,
- Prepare, execute, and maintain BIM strategies and plans.
- Support and provide a review of BIM Project Models, workflows, and methodologies to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Must be aware of Local US and Canadian codes & standards such as NFPA, Ontario / BC Building Code, ASHRAE etc.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with an A1 contractor in North America.
- Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination, as per local codes and standards.
- Experience in BIM modelling and MEP system coordination is advantageous
- With at least 3 years of BIM coordination/management experience in the relevant industry for large scale projects
- Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility, and able to handle pressure.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
