Majestic Care is looking for a Regional Director of Plant Operations in our Eastern Kentucky region to join our teams’ mission and believe in our core values! Our Regional Director of Plant Operations will work with our building-level Maintenance Directors, implementing our programs. This position will be a travel role supporting communities in Northern Indiana!

POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Director of Plant Operations supervises the overall maintenance throughout the company and is responsible for the efficient function of physical plant and environmental systems as well as the appearance and upkeep of the community grounds.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Director of Plant Operations supervises the overall maintenance throughout the company and is responsible for the efficient function of physical plant and environmental systems as well as the appearance and upkeep of the community grounds.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Direct and participate in maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs.
- Recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
- Take action to ensure the community appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control are maintained at the highest level possible.
- Remain knowledgeable of infection control techniques.
- Direct the effort to have attractive and well-maintained grounds.
- Work collaboratively with the safety committee program and ensure communities are following the program.
- Ensure the communities are utilizing the systems put in place to track and monitor maintenance orders.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- This position requires for the care team member to be able to perform and complete each essential duty satisfactorily.
- This position requires for the care team member to be able to read, write, have excellent communication skills, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents.
- This position requires for the care team member to be able to reach (overhead), stand, walk, sit, pull, lift, carry, push, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist.
- This position requires for the care team member to be knowledgeable of building codes and rules and regulations regarding the operation of plant equipment.
- This position requires for the care team member to be knowledgeable of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- This position requires for the care team member to be knowledgeable of OSHA and other safety requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school is preferred, but not required.
- Three years of experience in building maintenance; one year of supervisory experience preferred.
