The World Equestrian Center - Ocala is looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our dynamic team. The Room Attendant provides exceptional guest services by maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness and quality control throughout our facilities. We are looking for reliable and service focused individuals to join us in this role.
Ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, and excellent organizational and time management skills. A desire to provide a great experience for our guests. Weekend availability is a must. Candidates must be able to work outside in warm temperatures and adapt to weather changes.

Essential Functions
- Warmly greet all guests.
- Ensure the safety of all guests and guests’ belongings.
- Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms according to daily assignment and standards.
- Prepare/clean rooms for all guests by removing all trash, changing all bed linens and bathroom items,
- cleaning, and disinfecting bathroom area, replenishing guest room items, dusting common areas in
- room, and vacuuming room as needed.
- Assisting in cleaning public areas.
- Following chemical safety usage and guidelines.
- Must have flexible availability in scheduling to include weekends and holidays.
- Position requires bending, reaching, and kneeling to perform duties.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking for the majority of assigned shift. Typically, 8 hours per shift – with occasional
- overtime. This may include going up and down stairs.
- Must be able to grip, grasp, push, pull, lift, bend and fold constantly through the shift while carrying out
- duties associated with cleaning of assigned areas. These areas may vary from day to day.
- Ability to lift boxes containing product or laundry that weigh anywhere from 10lbs-25 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull clean cart thorough the duration of the shift weighing above 50 lbs.
- Ability to restock cleaning products for use throughout the shift. This may involve grasping and twisting
- with hands, reaching, bending, and lifting.
- Must have the ability to sweep, mop, dust, light and make guest beds, scrub bathrooms and showers.
- These tasks are done daily.

- Must be able to work well with others in a diverse working environment.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
