This role is accountable for driving service excellence, optimizing cost and performance, and ensuring all activities are executed with integrity, transparency, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, results-oriented, and skilled in building strong carrier and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Truckload (FTL) and Intermodal (IMD) operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service reliability.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate carrier performance, network efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Partner with internal teams and external carriers to ensure alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and deliver actionable insights.
- Proactively address service risks, capacity challenges, and operational disruptions with transparency and accountability.
- Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and process discipline across all transportation activities.
- 5+ years of experience in North American transportation, with expertise in Truckload and Intermodal operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making and performance management.
- Proven track record of improving carrier performance and driving cost efficiency through metrics and KPIs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with transparency, integrity, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
