Job Overview
Assist in the customer service department and maintain the reception area. A dedicated customer service representative must handle customer-oriented duties as well as general office management tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Candidates should have the ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise, and be able to prioritize and manage time effectively. THIS IS A ON-SITE POSITION.
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains relationships with customers by resolving issues via e-mail, phone, or fax.
- Maintains our bookshop by checking stock and appearance daily and assisting walk-in customers.
- Contributes to the team by handling incoming mail, orders, and invoices
- Perform related and/or special work as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- People oriented with excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Computer skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and good time management skills
