Category Management Analyst – Indirect Materials

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for indirect materials.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
• Use market intelligence and analytics to reduce supply chain risk and enhance decision-making.
• Manage supplier relationships and lead performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service and reliability.
• Lead the development and execution of Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Analyze competitive bids and develop negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms.
• Ensure accurate contract management including pricing, specifications, lead times, and terms.
• Engage with internal customers to understand operational needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement processes.
  
  

Qualification Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
• Procurement/Supply Chain certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Strong skills in project management, strategic planning, and SAP.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
