Third Shift General Laborer

Location: Newport News, VA

Pay: $17 – $20 per hour

Schedule: 3rd Shift (12:00 AM – 8:30 AM)

About The Role

We’re looking for a Third Shift General Laborer to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves moving and organizing materials, assisting with machinery, and helping ensure production runs smoothly. Candidates should be comfortable working overnight hours and in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with machinery (including CNC equipment)
• Organize and supply materials according to schedules or instructions
• Remove cut or punched parts from metal sheets
• Follow all safety protocols and use PPE correctly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Sort, label, and stage parts for production
• Assist with packing parts for shipment or assembly
• Operate forklifts in tight or narrow spaces (training available)
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good situational awareness and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
  
  
  

Physically Requirements

• Lift up to 75 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, and reach for extended periods
• Work in hot or cold temperatures
  
  
  

Preferred (not required):

• Forklift experience
• Material handling experience
