About Nue.io

Nue is reimagining quote-to-cash for the modern era. We help the world’s fastest-growing companies sell, bill, and recognize revenue with speed and precision — all on Salesforce and beyond. Backed by leading investors and trusted by some of the most innovative brands, we’re scaling quickly and building a team of ambitious, curious, and collaborative people who want to make an impact.

The Role

We’re looking for a Recruiting Manager to join us as a player-coach. This person will own a recruiting for a functional specialty while building and execute recruiting strategies, and lead external broader recruiting efforts. You’ll directly manage and mentor internal and 3rd party recruiters, while coordinating with external contract recruiters to ensure seamless execution.

This is a hands-on recruiting as well as leadership role — someone who can both roll up their sleeves to source and close key candidates, while also setting strategy, implementing process, and driving results across multiple functions. In an early-stage environment like ours, we need someone who can operate independently, anticipate needs, and scale recruiting without constant oversight.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a player-coach: own one specialty area (e.g., Sales, Technical, or G&A) while overseeing recruiting across all functions.
  • Manage and mentor internal recruiters and coordinate external agencies/contractors.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and executives to anticipate headcount needs and build hiring roadmaps
  • Build scalable recruiting processes, tools, and best practices for a growing company.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for critical roles — from sourcing to closing — ensuring a world-class candidate experience.
  • Create dashboards and metrics to track recruiting trends to improve effectiveness.
  • Leverage the current recruiting platform while improving adoption and creating efficiencies.
  • Provide market insights and data to guide hiring decisions.
  • Establish metrics to measure recruiting effectiveness and continuously improve.

About You

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years leading or managing a team (manager or director level).
  • Proven track record as a hands-on recruiter in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Able to manage a 10+ req load monthly with an average fill rate of 2-3 hires per month while leading others.
  • Comfortable operating independently with minimal intervention — proactive, resourceful, and execution-driven.
  • Strong relationship builder who can influence executives, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated specialty expertise (e.g., scaling GTM, hiring engineers, or building G&A functions) while also being adaptable to recruit across disciplines.
  • Experience managing external partners (agencies, contract recruiters) as well as internal team members.
  • Ability to balance speed with quality and candidate experience.
  • Passion for building diverse and high-performing teams.
  • Bonus: Experience recruiting for financial SaaS roles in software companies (finance, billing, revenue management, or related functions).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work in the dynamic and innovative Silicon Valley tech ecosystem.
  • The chance to work on groundbreaking projects and influence the future of finance and payment systems.
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
