Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate care across medical and psychiatric services
- Administer vaccines and long-acting injectable medications
- Perform routine health screenings and lab draws
- Provide patient education and basic first aid as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, medical assistants, care managers, and administrative staff
- Participate in staff education and training initiatives
- Current LPN License in the State of Arizona.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- If agency driver, possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record including but not limited to a serious traffic violation (ie. Reckless Driving; at fault accident; felony speeding) or greater than 2 traffic violations in prior 39 months and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification – training will be provided if candidate does not have active certification.
- Series of Hepatitis shots or declination of same.
- Proof of good health by initial Physical examination and negative TB test.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling a maximum of 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Proven ability to work within a collaborative clinical team environment.
- Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
- Must obtain and maintain a Fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Previous Psychiatric nursing experience.
