Position Summary
Responsible for all aspects of assigned Director of Operations Management.
Responsibilities
- Duties include responsibility and management of Final Assembly, Test, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Composites, and Paint. Final Assembly includes both Large and Small Antenna production. The Test department includes Production Test, the Environmental Lab, and a remote Far Field Range.
- Typical tasks include headcount management, technical training plans, employee evaluation and development, and ultimate responsibility for ISO documentation within any of the departments mentioned above.
- Strategic goals include developing individual employee training plans and assuring the production areas have appropriate, calibrated, and maintained tooling and fixtures.
- Work closely with Quality, Procurement, Program Management, and Engineering to ensure continued and uninterrupted flow of material in order to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Regularly collect and publish manufacturing metrics to Senior Staff.
- Represent Operations at all internal, customer and Government audits.
- Other tasks as required or directed.
- Minimum 10 years Management experience with increasing levels of technical experience in a production environment.
- Prior work experience in the DoD space a plus.
- 4 yr technical degree a plus.
- Proven track record of managing and mentoring subordinate managers.
- Looking for someone with deep experience working with diverse and multiple technical fields simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to obtain Government Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Must have high functional level verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Working familiarity with AS9100, 5S/Lean Mfg., New Product Introductions, and MS Office software tools.
- Able to successfully multi-task in a dynamic production environment.
- This role requires the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
