Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge sufficient to properly and deftly complete painting assignment
Plan efficient work procedures using technical manuals and knowledge of surface preparations and painting techniques; arranging to obtain timely delivery of paint and necessary materials
Perform quality paint application within timeframe and material allowances as well as according to guidelines by efficiently using appropriate/allocated tools
Utilize protective supplies as appropriate to ensure cleanliness of vehicle
Operate lifting and moving devices to move materials and equipment and access areas
Responsible for cleaning, sanding, and applying chemical solutions to prepare and condition surfaces prior to painting Must be able to color sand and buff
Qualifications
Ability to paint when head painter is gone
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, past drug screen
