This position will be primarily in-office and located in Warner Robins, GA.


The Cloud Technology Engineer designs, implements, and maintains secure, scalable cloud solutions within a hybrid Azure/Entra environment. This role partners with systems, security, and networking teams to deliver a compliant, reliable, and well-integrated cloud footprint. Focus areas include building and automating Azure and hybrid services for performance, scalability, and efficiency, ensuring strong identity governance, compliance, and resilience across Microsoft cloud platforms, driving reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response and guiding cloud migrations, integrations, and adoption of new Microsoft capabilities.


What You’ll Do:

Infrastructure & Automation

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Azure and hybrid technologies.
  • Automate provisioning, monitoring, compliance, and resource management processes.
  • Develop and manage monitoring solutions for Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid integrations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and identity architecture.

Identity & Security

  • Support hybrid identity solutions, including Azure AD Connect and Entra ID cloud-only environments.
  • Partner with Helpdesk and Endpoint teams on Intune, AutoPilot, and device compliance enforcement.
  • Contribute to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, testing, and execution for cloud services.

Operations & Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including performance and availability concerns.
  • Serve as a key technical resource for cloud-related change management and incident response.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT staff on Azure and Microsoft 365 best practices.

Strategy & Innovation

  • Stay up to date on new features, updates, and innovations within Microsoft cloud platforms.
  • Advise on cloud migrations, integrations, and enterprise adoption initiatives.

What You Need To Succeed:

Job Education & Experience Required:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in cloud systems engineering or administration
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD/Entra, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and cloud networking

Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Experience with identity and access management, including Azure Active Directory, conditional access, dynamic groups, and role-based access models.
  • Proficiency with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Graph API, Power Automate) to streamline provisioning, compliance, and operational tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices for financial institutions.
  • Ability to design and maintain scalable, resilient, and compliant cloud infrastructure using Azure IaaS/ PaaS and hybrid integrations.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate across IT and business teams.
