Position: Transport Driver (Part time)
Our Bella Vista facility is seeking amazing Transport Driver!
Essential Functions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during transportation to and from appointments, outings, and facility-related trips
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the transport vehicle, both interior and exterior
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle concerns or maintenance needs promptly
- Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, including the proper use of safety harnesses and lifts
- Follow assigned schedules and route plans in a timely and efficient manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws, facility policies, and safety protocols
- All other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of safety harnesses, locking mechanisms, and lifts used in transport vehicles
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and other transportation safety requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to operate motor vehicle equipment safely and responsibly
- Patient, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care and service
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old
- License: Valid Driver’s License
- Driving Record: Clean driving record
