Location: Lakewood, NJ (In-office)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00/1:00 PM
Position Summary
The CNA Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Moments Hospice's Lakewood office by overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position manages CNA scheduling, onboarding, compliance tracking, and serves as the primary point of contact for CNA staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Position Summary
The CNA Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Moments Hospice's Lakewood office by overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position manages CNA scheduling, onboarding, compliance tracking, and serves as the primary point of contact for CNA staff and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate CNA daily/weekly schedules to ensure patient coverage.
- Serve as liaison between CNAs, nurses, and office leadership.
- Monitor CNA documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Track CNA credentials, certifications, and annual requirements.
- Assist with onboarding new CNAs, including training and orientation.
- Provide administrative support such as maintaining files, updating systems, and processing timesheets.
- Support leadership with performance tracking and quality assurance initiatives.
- Address CNA staffing issues and escalate concerns to supervisors as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare-related coursework preferred.
- CNA certification or prior experience coordinating CNA staff strongly preferred.
- Previous administrative or scheduling experience in healthcare setting (hospice/home health experience a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
