Essential Functions

Essential Functions
- Confirm incoming cargo data with U.S. Customs and build entry files for upload into EDI. Prepare inbounds for all cargo destined for Mexico, FTZ, or cargo designated by the customer to move inbound.
- Manage ISF filing.
- Manage Export document uploading.
- Coordinate and monitor the importation/exportation and other domestic transportation shipments.
- Support the FedEx, UPS, and DHL account management.
- Recommend and implement operational policies aligned with the strategic objectives of the division.
- Support the creation of shipping instructions.
- Support for insurance claims and support marine audit as well.
- Ensure punctual attendance per the defined work schedule and comply with the attendance policy for time reporting, break periods, and overtime if applicable.
- Responsible for providing potential business partners with the required documents.
- Allocate logistics costs properly for financial purposes (logistics costs analysis).
- Obtaining reports from logistics companies.
- Monitoring and managing logistics rate.
- Provide support toward the certification and ensure compliance with customer-required quality management systems (TISAX, TS16949, IATF, etc.) (DO NOT DELETE, MUST REMAIN IN JOB DESCRIPTION)

- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Trade and Customs, Business, or related area.
- Five years’ related experience preferred.
- LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required
- TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: General office equipment, including but not limited to a computer, printer, photocopier, shredder, telephone, fax machine, and calculator.
