Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable & Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable process and maintaining accurate financial records through effective bookkeeping practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Verify invoice accuracy, match with purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor records and manage communications regarding payment status
  • Prepare AP batches through Point Click Care Accounting system
  • Reconcile AP transactions and assist with month-end closing


Bookkeeping

  • Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of entries
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts and accounts receivable from the facilities
  • Support preparation of financial reports and assist with audits


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Familiarity with tax filings and compliance
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
