POSITION TITLE: Web Developer
WAGE/COMPENSATION: $61,069 and Benefits -Medical/Dental/Vision, Vacation/Paid Holidays/Sick, 401K, bonus, flex schedule
Job Duties
Develop, configure, maintain, and update WordPress websites using WP Development, WP Engine’s Hosting Platform, which includes scripting languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS , and using Local by Flywheel.
Optimize websites’ SEO using WP widgets and related website tools, Astra, SiteOrigin Page Builder, and Yoast SEO and setting up Google Tag Manager for SEO tracking and analytics
Recommend security, performance, and accessibility improvements.
Respond to client inquires through helpdesk support and troubleshooting website issues for clients.
Requirements
Minimum Education: High School Diploma (Foreign Equivalent is OK).
Experience: 1 year of experience in WordPress Development, WP Engine’s Hosting Platform, SSH (Secure Shell) , WP-CLI (command-line interface for WordPress), Local by Flywheel and in the following WP themes and tools Astra, SiteOrigin Page Builder, GravityForms, Yoast SEO.
