The Compliance Manager supports the Director of Compliance in the implementation, monitoring, and management of the organization’s corporate compliance program. This role plays a key part in ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards by assisting with compliance activities, documentation, reporting, and communication across departments.

The Compliance Manager supports the Director of Compliance in the implementation, monitoring, and management of the organization’s corporate compliance program. This role plays a key part in ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards by assisting with compliance activities, documentation, reporting, and communication across departments.

- Responsible for keeping track and maintaining IGB approvals for Marketing promotions.
- Responsible for ensuring all of the company's licenses are updated and renewed timely; state and local liquor licenses and vehicle registration.
- Assist the Director of Compliance in ensuring that the company is operating in accordance with all State and Federal regulations, including Illinois Gaming Board regulations and the Illinois Liquor Control Act.
- Responsible for compiling, coordinating, and responding to all subpoenas received by the property.
- Responsible for submitting CTRs & SARs to the IRS.
- Responsible for auditing the Self-Exclusion program.
- Audit the daily gaming activities of the casino in accordance with the System of Internal Controls. This includes suspicious activity detection and reporting.
- Responsible for confirming the weekly IGB Self-Evictions download is verified in the casino management system.
- Assist the Director of Compliance with revising and updating the Internal Control systems as needed for the property.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self- Exclusion Program as described in Section A of this Internal Control System.
- Assist with all Compliance training preparation and implementation.
- Responsible for all required vendor due diligence check(s).
- Responsible for reviewing and/or approving vendor information to ensure all required documentation has been received and current.
- Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by the Director of Compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or over
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the Internet is required
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to review documents for regulatory requirements
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group setting to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- 4+ or more years of higher education in Accounting/Business or a related field
- 5+ years Title31 experience
- 5+ years of casino experience
- CAMS, CFE, GAMS, CAFP, or CFCS certification
- Being able to sit/stand for a long period of time
- Being able to look at a computer monitor for a long period of time
- Being able to lift 25lbs boxes
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
