Summary
The Project Manager in the Operations Department will play a key role in supporting the Head of Operations in overseeing over 70 stores across the U.S. Based at the Headquarters, this position combines strategic project management with operational coordination and executive support. The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional communication, and the ability to drive projects and initiatives from concept to execution in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

The Project Manager in the Operations Department will play a key role in supporting the Head of Operations in overseeing over 70 stores across the U.S. Based at the Headquarters, this position combines strategic project management with operational coordination and executive support. The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional communication, and the ability to drive projects and initiatives from concept to execution in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate operational projects including new store openings, remodels, relocations, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against key milestones, escalating risks or issues as needed.
- Organize and facilitate cross-functional project meetings; prepare agendas, capture key discussions and prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain centralized project trackers and reporting dashboards to provide transparency to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Act as the central liaison between Operations and HQ departments (e.g., Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, IT, HR) to align resources, priorities, and execution.
- Partner with the Store Operations team to ensure new initiatives are effectively rolled out to stores with clear communication, training, and operational guidelines.
- Support the Head of Operations in preparing materials for leadership reviews, cross-departmental updates, and executive presentations.
- Assist in identifying operational bottlenecks and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Support the creation of reports and dashboards to track store performance and key KPIs.
- Help maintain consistency across stores by contributing to SOP updates and compliance monitoring.
- Provide direct support to the Head of Operations in strategic planning, special projects, and day-to-day operational priorities.
- Prepare briefing notes, executive summaries, and project updates to facilitate informed decision-making at the leadership level.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the Head of Operations by anticipating needs, managing information flow, and ensuring priorities are executed seamlessly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, operations, or related roles. Experience in retail operations or multi-location project coordination is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
- Knowledge of data analysis, AI tools, reporting techniques, and KPI tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project) is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
- This job is performed in an environment that may have exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors.
- Employment Type: Full Time.
- Location: 6338 Regio Ave, Buena Park, CA 90620.
- Travel: 10% ~ 15%.
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30PM.
