The Credentialing Supervisor coordinates, supervises, and is accountable for the daily activities of the credentialing team. This role ensures compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory standards, and delegation arrangements. The supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards, resolving issues efficiently, and collaborating closely with internal and external department leads and staff to identify and resolve credentialing-related issues.

Primary Responsibilities
- Effectively manage inventory through monitoring, prioritization and workload balancing
- Develop plans to meet short-term and long-term objectives
- Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
- Analyze quality and performance data, identify trends and prepare reports for multiple levels of the organization
- Provide coaching, feedback, and annual performance reviews
- Lead projects and assigns tasks
- Communicate with government agencies to resolve credentialing matters and ensure compliance
- Triage and resolve escalated issues and seek guidance and support from leadership when appropriate
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in credentialing and provider enrollment
- Experience managing deadlines and shifting priorities
- Proficiency in credentialing and enrollment software and portals
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience training, mentoring or supervising teams
- Experience in a large healthcare system, MSO, or payer organization
- Proficiency in MD-Staff
