The Seasonal Retail Associate at the National Polo Center (NPC) Shop plays a key role in delivering world-class hospitality and exceptional customer service to polo guests and fans throughout the polo season, December 28, 2026 – May 3, 2026. Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional shopping experience by greeting guests warmly, providing knowledgeable assistance, and ensuring superior customer service at all times.
  • Represent the U.S. Polo Assn. brand by maintaining a professional, welcoming, and polished presence on the NPC grounds.
  • Be reliable for Sunday shifts throughout the season.
  • Assist customers with product selection, styling suggestions, and purchases, demonstrating deep knowledge of the brand and merchandise.
  • Act as a knowledgeable brand ambassador for USPA, sharing the brand story and engaging visitors with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the store is attractive, well-stocked, and reflective of the brand’s global image.
  • Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
  • Support daily store operations, including inventory management, restocking, and general shop upkeep.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with fellow associates and managers.
  • Provide hospitality to guests, helping create memorable experiences that connect the lifestyle of U.S. Polo Assn. with the excitement of live polo.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred; customer service passion required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests and fans.
  • Positive, energetic, and adaptable attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Availability to work weekends during the polo season, especially Sundays at the National Polo Center.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical activity such as stocking and organizing merchandise.
  • Interest in fashion, lifestyle branding, or sporting events a plus.
