HR Manager

Advent Talent Group is now seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager for short-term coverage with an engineering client in Blaine, Minnesota. This is an immediate need, with interviews starting next week.

You will help support sustainable HR structures while advising managers on policies and employee relations for the duration of this short-term contract.

Overview:

Contract Length: Approx. 1-3 months

Location: Onsite - Blaine, MN

Salary: $55-$65 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support Human Capital Management Program and participate in weekly management meetings
• Assist with recruiting activities for non-exempt and exempt positions, including interviews, reference checks, and candidate coordination
• Maintain personnel policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Coordinate with legal counsel on HR-related issues as needed
• Support payroll review processes and maintain HRIS system accuracy
• Assist with employee benefit program administration and employee inquiries
• Maintain positive employee relations and uphold company's Core Values
• Coordinate with IT support groups and handle basic HR system needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist/HR Manager experience
• Manufacturing and/or engineering industry experience preferred.
• Outgoing, approachable personality with high EQ and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Recruiting experience for both exempt and non-exempt positions
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• HRCI or SHRM certification preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• HRIS experience required
