Engagement Marketing & Communications Team
This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role. Candidates must be able to work East Coast/NYC time zone hours.
Summary
The Editorial Engagement Specialist will develop and sustain strategies that grow and engage internal and global audiences. This role focuses on creating strategic frameworks, optimizing communication and content strategies, and building innovative engagement experiences across multiple tools and touchpoints.
Our Ideal Candidate
In this role, you will design and implement strategies that strengthen engagement and content effectiveness across internal and external audiences. You’ll partner with stakeholders to refine communication, training, and content approaches, using data analysis to measure and guide engagement. This includes designing strategic plans for future content formats, optimizing delivery across digital platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
You will also track engagement metrics, recommend improvements, and support the overall success of the engagement and communications team.

The pay for this W-2 position is $65.25 per hour.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, training, education, and/or internal engagement
- Passion for content strategy and digital engagement with a strong foundation in project management
- Proficient in using analytics tools to evaluate and optimize content strategies
- Familiar with social media best practices and/or SEO concepts to grow audience reach and engagement
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
- Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to cultivate strong working relationships and drive alignment across teams

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Education, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Background in marketing, communications, digital engagement, or training content development
- Experience with analytics platforms, social media management, and/or SEO best practices
