Description

As a Field Dispatcher at Academy Bus, you will join a cross-functional team, keeping the lines of communication open between its employees and customers. This position is located at our Hoboken, NJ location.

This role provides an opportunity for growth within the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the U.S.

Part-time shifts only. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some nights and weekends.

Earn $16.00-$18.00 per hour. Pay rate based on candidate experience level.

Core Role

• Coordinate with terminal leadership, customer service, and other teams to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Use the radio, phone or computer to direct crews and other field units to the appropriate sites.
• Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
• Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize their daily schedule.
• Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation
  
  

Requirements

• At least 1 year of scheduling or operations experience
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule which may include some nights and weekends
• MS Outlook and Excel
