Lord Chamberlain is a family-owned skilled nursing facility in Stratford, Connecticut with two major units: one with 60 beds, specializing in short-term rehabilitation and a 190-bed unit specializing in long-term care. We are currently hiring a Receptionist. Come join our team!
Receptionist Job Summary:
The receptionist is often the first person a patient, candidate or family member interacts with. Receptionists will kindly greet and direct visitors, answer any incoming calls, coordinate outgoing and incoming mail and maintain relevant records.

Receptionist Job Summary:

Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department. Forward calls into voicemail if necessary and take messages for employees when appropriate.
- Give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc.
- Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone members of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc.
- Operate copiers, office machines, etc., as directed.
- Operate computer as directed.
- Order supplies as directed.

Requirements:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education.
- Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
