Position Overview
As the Director of Digital Product, you will own and lead the strategy, performance, and evolution of Audien Hearing’s consumer-facing website as a high-performing digital product. You will be responsible for the site’s user experience (UI/UX), conversion optimization, product merchandising, and technical integrations that support business growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, development, and leadership to drive continuous improvement, leveraging data and customer insights to inform decisions. This role may oversee a small in-house or outsourced development team or collaborate closely with a dev lead, depending on structure.

Position Overview
As the Director of Digital Product, you will own and lead the strategy, performance, and evolution of Audien Hearing’s consumer-facing website as a high-performing digital product. You will be responsible for the site’s user experience (UI/UX), conversion optimization, product merchandising, and technical integrations that support business growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, development, and leadership to drive continuous improvement, leveraging data and customer insights to inform decisions. This role may oversee a small in-house or outsourced development team or collaborate closely with a dev lead, depending on structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the customer-facing e-commerce site as a core digital product, driving its performance, usability, and alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the teams executing front and back end site operations, including Shopify store management, UI/UX, CRO, and development.
- Lead UX and UI improvements to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction, reduce friction, and increase conversion rates.
- Build and manage a CRO roadmap—design and execute A/B tests, track funnel metrics, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Oversee on-site merchandising, product display logic, and promotional strategy to support marketing and sales initiatives.
- Ensure seamless integration between the website and back-end systems (order processing, inventory, CRM, analytics, etc.).
- Lead or collaborate closely with developers and designers to execute updates, troubleshoot issues, and maintain site performance.
- Define and report on KPIs related to site traffic, engagement, sales, and funnel conversion.
- Map and optimize the end-to-end digital customer journey from landing page to post-purchase experience.
- Work with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to align digital initiatives with broader company goals.
- 5–8+ years of experience in digital product management, e-commerce, or web experience roles.
- Proven experience optimizing DTC e-commerce websites for performance and conversion.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Hotjar, Google Optimize).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and CMS systems.
- Expert experience with GA4 and other web analytics tools.
- Technical fluency—able to collaborate effectively with developers and understand how front-end and back-end systems interact.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing digital roadmaps.
- Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Bonus: Experience in health tech, regulated products, or subscription models.
