Dietary Baker

Rosewood Health and Rehab is proud of our 5-Star rating for quality of care. Cooks are an important part of the Dietary team here at The Groves. Cooks are responsible for the preparation of all meals served to residents and staff. Cooks report to the Director of Dietary Services. Both day and evening shifts are available.

Duties, include but are not limited to:

• Read menu, plan cooking schedule to have food ready for timely service.
• Prepare food according to standardized recipes.
• Wash, peel. cut, trim vegetables, fruits, or meat.
• Bake, roast, stew, or steam cooks meat or vegetables.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral directions.
• Must present work history that includes institutional or commercial cooking experience.
• Must be dependable and demonstrate an excellent attendance and timeliness record.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
