Position Summary:

As a market-leading hospitality operation with multiple outlets generating over $30M annually, Europa Village seeks a proven, visionary leader to serve as Director of Food & Beverage. This hands-on executive is accountable for the full profitability, performance, and strategic growth of all restaurants, bars, and banquet operations. The Director will drive operational excellence, cost discipline, team development, and revenue-enhancing initiatives while ensuring world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Provide full accountability for all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring seamless execution and consistent excellence across restaurants, bars, and banquet programs.
  • Maintain a visible, hands-on presence in daily operations to lead by example, engage with guests, and ensure top-tier service standards.


Financial Performance & Strategic Growth:

  • Drive profitability through cost control, margin improvement, contract negotiation, and disciplined financial management.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase revenue, including menu optimization, pricing, promotions, and analysis of market trends.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Establish performance metrics, monitor results, reward achievements, and hold teams accountable for meeting operational and financial goals.


Guest Experience & Brand Engagement:

  • Exemplify exceptional hospitality and professionalism while communicating the Europa Village story to members and guests.
  • Gather and act on guest feedback to enhance satisfaction and drive top reviews, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s values.


Event & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Executive Chef, Events Director, and other departments to plan and execute seasonal menus, weddings, conferences, private events, and member experiences.
  • Collaborate with Winery Operations, Marketing, Hotel, Purchasing, and Accounting to optimize revenue, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.


Compliance & Standards:

  • Uphold all regulatory, health, and safety requirements, modeling a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and operational discipline.
  • Maintain required certifications, including Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service.


Communication & Leadership Presence:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external communications.
  • Foster positive interpersonal relationships with staff, members, and guests, championing teamwork, engagement, and brand excellence.
  • Exhibit flexibility in schedule to meet operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Substantial, current leadership experience managing complex Food & Beverage operations, including high-end banquet programs.
  • Proven track record in driving profitability, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction in a multi-venue hospitality environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue strategy.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team development skills.
  • Background in culinary arts is highly advantageous.
  • Required certifications: Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service.
  • A minimum of Five (5) years experience.
