About The Role

As a Construction Interface Manager - Bulgaria project you will support the Senior Bulgaria Project Director by overseeing multiple aspects of project coordination with our Consortium Construction Partner (Hyundai Engineering & Construction; 'HDEC') during the project lifecycle for the AP1000 Bulgaria Project. All project management is performed following the established Westinghouse policies, procedures, and requirements.

You will be remote and based in the United States.

You will report to the Senior Project Director - Bulgaria

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Consortium partner (HDEC) stakeholders and liaison with Westinghouse team members to lead Consortium-level integration in preparation for the EPC Contract.
• Promote implementation of processes to train Consortium partner on the AP1000 construction.
• Organize and liaison with WEC Engineering to perform constructability reviews and challenge all parties on status quo during the planning stages.
• Manage project status reporting to support Project Director with both Westinghouse and Consortium Partner (HDEC) inputs to guarantee a clear agreement is achieved.
• Support Project Director requests within project communications to all partners to ensure consistency of messages with the project's direction.
• Support Project Director to build project by validating work in financial, scheduling, and document management. Communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work.
• Promote continuous improvement to enhance completion of assigned tasks: Assess improvement opportunities to add value.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline, such as: Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience or experience in a technical role in nuclear or construction industry
• Demonstrated effectiveness in developing customer relations at all levels and managing Consortium partners.
• High-level proficiency in project management and construction practices
• Knowledge of power industry and technical fields related to plant design, operation, maintenance, construction, and supply chain
• Experience in commercial project management and business development
• Comprehensive knowledge of principles risk analysis, financial management, and business management practices
  
  

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000 to $180,000 per year.
