Position Summary

Facilitates various aspects of application programming, including testing, design, and analysis. Develops procedures and best practices for application users.

Major Tasks And Responsibilities

• Prepares documentation for new or enhanced systems and applications.
• Conducts ongoing maintenance and reviews of applications, identifying and resolving issues.
• Administers applications and provides technical expertise for information technology systems development and execution.
• Collaborates with developers and vendors to align infrastructure with end-user needs and business objectives.
• Creates user accounts and assigns security levels.
• Monitors applications for compliance with information technology standards and policies.
• Delivers vendor-related status reports and training materials to staff.
• Provides first and second-level application support outside core hours as needed.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Desktop support or application management experience.
• Knowledge of life cycle management for technology change implementation.
• Proficiency in imaging, automated installation processes, and scripting.
