We are seeking a Quantum Compiler Engineering Intern for our Broomfield, CO location.
This internship role will be within the compiler team focusing on the capabilities and performance of programs running on our current and future state-of-the-art quantum computers.

Salary Range: $33/hr to $40/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Software architecture, design, and coding
- Integration, test, and documentation
- Work with software leads to define and execute core project
- Actively pursuing a Master’s degree
- Graduating on or after 2026
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
- Actively pursuing a Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement
- Previously taken coursework on compiler design fundamentals
- Fluency in Rust
- Software development skills in Linux development environments
- Familiarity with software configuration, delivery, and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker
- Experience and/or interest in compiler tools, quantum circuits, circuit optimization, and quantum algorithms
- Enthusiasm for problem solving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- For candidates located outside of this state, this role will include a housing stipend of up to $1000/month
