- Two years of college (minimum 48 semester units) or possession of an Associate degree or higher or proof of certification through a local assessment which meets the requirements of “No Child Left Behind” AND 6 (six) months of working with students. Possession of valid First Aid Certificate is required within six months from the date of hire. Possession of a valid CPR Certificate is desirable.
- Degree or completion of 48 semester units from accredited college or university –or- County office of Education Certificate showing compliance with NCLB/Paraprofessional Training/SUSD 5 part Assessment Test (SUSD proficiency test taken before 7/1/04 does not meet this requirement) *PROOF OF COMPLIANCE MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION* A completed application must include: Resume, Letter of Interest and proof of NCLB compliance. Please note that applicants currently employed through an outside agency that is under a contract with Stockton Unified School District may not be eligible for employment in this position.
