Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer 1 at W Hoboken in Hoboken, NJ. The Engineer 1 will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair hotel systems, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include responding to guest requests, maintaining equipment, coordinating with other departments, and documenting work performed.

Qualifications

• Experience in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Capability to perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus
• Technical training or certification in relevant fields is advantageous
