Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Join our client Onboarding team in leading Investment Technology Projects, focused on retiring from the TA platform. Partnering with one of our financial services clients, we are enabling the conversion of TA accounts to provisional accounts and facilitating the migration of eligible accounts to the brokerage platform.
- Provide development and maintenance support for AWS and Cloud based implementations.
- Build, test, and deploy applications to various environmental regions following our clients’ change management process.
- Work with development teams and understand / provision their environment needs including submission of various types of requests to appropriate teams.
- Provide development and production support for product implementation.
- Support production issues and support the product owners/scrum master’s to deliver fixes within acceptable timeframes.
- Help and mentor team members for technical issues that may arise.
- Provide regular status to Project Manager/Scrum Master and System Manager on tasks and deliverables.
- Support other day-to-day activities as needed.
The Team
Qualifications Required
- 3+ years’ of experience In Software Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with Java/J2EE technologies
- 3+ years of experience in Springboot frameworks
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud and Deployment Activities and AWS platforms
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
- Excellent Written and Communication Skills
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
