About This Role
Pressed Floral is looking for a Part-time (20hrs/week) Conversion-Focused UX Designer to own and optimize the digital customer journey across our e-commerce experience. This role blends creativity, data-driven analysis, and collaboration—helping us create a seamless, beautiful, and high-performing site that drives growth. You’ll be at the intersection of design, user experience, and conversion rate optimization, working closely with marketing, client experience, and development partners.

About This Role
Pressed Floral is looking for a Part-time (20hrs/week) Conversion-Focused UX Designer to own and optimize the digital customer journey across our e-commerce experience. This role blends creativity, data-driven analysis, and collaboration—helping us create a seamless, beautiful, and high-performing site that drives growth. You’ll be at the intersection of design, user experience, and conversion rate optimization, working closely with marketing, client experience, and development partners.
What You’ll Do
- Design & UX
- Create and refine e-commerce pages and features that align with brand aesthetics and usability best practices.
- Ensure a seamless customer journey from landing page to checkout, reducing friction and confusion.
- Research industry trends and competitors to identify innovative opportunities to improve the client journey.
- Conversion Optimization (CRO)
- Analyze user behavior, heatmaps, and funnel performance to identify and remove conversion barriers.
- Partner with Marketing to align landing pages with campaigns, maximizing ROI on paid and organic traffic.
- Set up, monitor, and interpret A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion performance.
- Regularly update site pages to support SEO and organic growth.
- Collaboration & Development
- Translate designs and test insights into clear specs for the development team.
- QA test builds and troubleshoot bugs impacting user experience or conversion.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing contractors, developers, and the Client Experience team to ensure optimized, user-friendly flows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce UX/UI best practices.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GA4, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and heat mapping tools (Google Optimize, Convert, Hotjar, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions with designers, developers, and marketers.
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience optimizing direct-to-consumer ecommerce funnels.
- Previous experience working with agencies or contractors on CRO and marketing initiatives.
- Increased site conversion rate.
- Reduced drop-off in cart and checkout flows.
- Higher ROI on paid and email campaigns through optimized landing pages.
- Positive client feedback on site usability and experience.
