General Summary
The part time Software Developer will develop and maintain software modules, user interfaces, and documentation. This individual should be comfortable writing, testing, and troubleshooting code in a mainline programming language such as C/C++, Python, Java, or C# and have knowledge of SQL relational databases. Prior knowledge of Python and JavaScript is not necessary but the part time seasonal Software Developer must be willing and able to learn these languages. This individual will be assisted by other members of the team and is not expected to perform all of the job functions without guidance.
Essential Job Functions
Two years of education pursuant to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Must have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a valid South Dakota driver’s license, have an excellent driving record and be insurable under the Company’s insurance policy.

Essential Job Functions
- Create, modify and troubleshoot Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Create, modify and troubleshoot SQL queries.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by Management.
- Knowledge of a mainline programming language such as C++, Python, Java, or C#.
- Knowledge of SQL Relational Databases.
- Knowledge of CSS/HTML is preferred by not essential.
- Knowledge of JavaScript is preferred by not essential.
- Knowledge of Python is preferred by not essential.
- Knowledge of the Linux Operating System is preferred by not essential.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to learn and abide by Company policies and procedures.
- Must be organized with attention to detail.
