Job Overview

Reich Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Traveling Construction Team Leader to supervise and coordinate Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) erection projects nationwide. The Crew Leader will oversee a team of 4-6 crew members, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to problem-solve under pressure, and excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 4-6 workers on PEMB erection projects.
• Read and interpret erection drawings, ensuring work meets project specifications.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Director of Operations to ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are on-site and ready.
• Monitor daily progress, resolve onsite issues, and provide updates to management.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Train, mentor, and motivate crew members, fostering growth and teamwork.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and with a commitment to quality.
• Represent Reich Construction LLC professionally with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PEMB erection or steel erection in a commercial setting.
• Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, erection plans, and technical drawings.
• Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• OSHA 30 Certification and operator certificates (e.g., aerial lift, forklift, crane) preferred.
• Must be willing and able to travel nationwide and work extended hours, including weekends, when required.
