Specific Duties
- The Financial Analyst’s (FA) role is to collect, maintain, and report all financial data for the program,analyze past and present financial data, forecast future costs and estimate burn rates, approve purchases ensuring funding is available, create dynamic products to accurately report the health status of program funding, as well as to identify trends and recommend cost saving measures.
- The FA will work with company leadership to reconcile invoices, adhere to standards and requirements, track proper timekeeping, and approve personnel access to charge codes. The FA will assist Contract Program Manager in responding to client drills, providing quotes, and assisting in all daily tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Some regular CONUS / OCONUS travel may be required (estimated less than 25% of chargeable hours).
- Analyze financial data and provide forecasting.
- Organize data into reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as bid rates, burn rates, and escalation.
- Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control.
- Present financial health status of the program in a formal setting.
- Reconcile invoices and prepare for approval.
- Entry in Accounts Payable (Accounting System).
- Maintain program budget for labor and other direct costs.
- Provide recommendations based on financial trends and forecast analysis.
- Regularly review timecards prior to submission to ensure accuracy and adherence to policy.
- Create, review and approve purchase requests.
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors to include invoicing, product quality, and product delivery.
- Review and approve Expense Reports within the approved system.
- An Active Secret Security Clearance, along with the ability to maintain that clearance with 6-month re-verification is required
- US Citizenship is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
