An Electronic Design Intern is responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining electrical hardware for complex systems in the product domain of Agriculture. As an intern, you will contribute across the entire product lifecycle, from initial development through production and eventually obsolescence. You will work closely with engineers, management, and customers to problem-solve, identify and implement cost reductions, drive product improvements, and perform root cause analysis. This role emphasizes collaboration, technical curiosity, and the ability to apply engineering fundamentals in real-world applications. Internship begins Summer 2026, with potential for an earlier Spring start.

Your Impact
- Prepare and interpret schematic drawings, PCB layouts, and other visual aids.
- Aid in cost reduction activities related to component selection, circuit redesign, and PCB updates.
- Aid in root cause analysis on complex electrical systems.
- Conduct research activities including exploration and selection of new components.
- Design, coordinate, and conduct testing of electrical systems, parts, and equipment.
- Participate in technical design reviews.
- Prepare technical design specifications.
- Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience with using electronics lab testing equipment.
- Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- Experience with printed circuit board design and fabrication.
- Experience with SMT Manufacturing.
