Position Purpose
Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics and Shipping/Receiving.
This role ensures cost-effective procurement, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery of materials and products. The Supply Chain Manager partners cross-functionally to align supplyactivities with customer demand, company goals, and operational excellence initiatives

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible to follow and enforce all Ensure compliance with all Vaupell policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), especially those related to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to balance cost and service level objectives.
- Lead logistics operations to drive efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain activities with company objectives.
- Partner with Production and/or Planning to ensure alignment.
- Lead and support Vaupell Operating System (VOS) initiatives to drive continuous improvement in all supply chain processes.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to company supply chain management best practices, policies, procedures, and external compliance requirements.
- Lead and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations leadership roles.
- APICS certification preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communicationskills.
- Experience in line management within plastics, medical, aerospace, or similar industries
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes: planning, procurement, inventory, and distribution.
- Familiar with ERP systems, network optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on leader with focus on cost savings, working capital, and measurable results
- Demonstrated capabilities in implementing change within organizations and delivering bottom line results.
- Comfortable working with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English.
- Must be able to wear and properly use the required personal protective equipment.
