Trinity Solar is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Applications/Permitting Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and submitting permit, utility, and state application packages while ensuring projects move forward smoothly and on time. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver clean, renewable energy to families across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, organize, and submit permit, utility, and state application packages with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collect and manage all necessary documentation for submission, ensuring compliance with local, state, and utility requirements.
  • Track the status of applications, provide regular updates in internal databases, and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Review, distribute, and manage documents and correspondence across departments.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering calls, scanning, emailing, shipping, and filing.
  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with municipalities, utilities, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Travel as needed to submit or collect permits and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience in permitting, construction administration, or regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with municipalities and internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with the solar industry is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of office or administrative experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Notary Public certification is a plus, but not required.
