Description

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
  • Completion of coursework in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Microsoft SQL Server, or data visualization software is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare routine reports and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate with individuals of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Previous internship or project experience in a technical or operational environment is advantageous.

Key Accountabilities (Essential Job Duties)

  • Demonstrates understanding and adheres to the KCS principles of Employee Engagement, Operational Excellence, Safety & Security, and Economic Performance

Asset Data Auditing

  • Conduct physical audits of assets and collect associated data
  • Analyze and validate data from blueprints, shop drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
  • Review, evaluate, and recommend optimizations for existing maintenance job plans

Data Transformation and Digital Projects

  • Support data preparation and transformation for system implementations, dashboards, or other initiatives
  • Assist in the development and documentation of business workflows and process improvements
  • Participate in internal meetings or user feedback sessions to gather requirements or report findings
  • Support testing or quality assurance of asset data uploads or interfaces

Technical and Field Support

  • Troubleshoot technical issues; document, track, and follow up to resolution
  • Provide on-site or remote support to field personnel; assist in training or onboarding efforts related to asset system improvements

Compliance and Policy Adherence

  • Demonstrates understanding and adheres to the KCS principles of Employee Engagement, Operational Excellence, Safety & Security, and Economic Performance
  • Comply with all Keolis policies, including but not limited to safety protocols and cybersecurity standards
  • Promote and model a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in accordance with company values

Working Conditions (including Physical Demands)

  • Primarily office-based work; some hybrid remote flexibility may be available based on project needs
  • Occasional site visits to various Keolis locations, including warehouses or maintenance shops, which may require personal protective equipment (PPE) and working outdoors
  • This position may require the use of personal transportation to access remote sites.
  • May involve occasional physical tasks such as moving computer equipment or materials

  • Exposures (loud noise, extreme heat or cold, rough terrain, etc.)
