The Job Details

We are seeking a Software Developer I to join our Enterprise Applications & Data team. In this role, you will contribute to building/maintaining integrations, automating business processes, and supporting low-code/no-code solutions that drive efficiency across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in software development who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a collaborative IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems using APIs and pre-configured connectors.
  • Develop RPA solutions to automate manual business processes.
  • Support the development and troubleshooting of low-code/no-code automation and app development tools (e.g., Power Platform, UiPath).
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, GraphQL or JavaScript.
  • Perform data queries and analysis to support business needs.
  • Perform automation assisted testing of Application upgrades or releases.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.
  • Learn and apply development best practices, security standards, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Gain familiarity with business workflows in Financial Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement and contribute to resolving system issues.

What We Are Looking For

The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.

Education

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on API-based integration or automation.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and secure transmissions.
  • Exposure to RPA tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
  • Basic understanding of database concepts and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn from others.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to accounting or procurement processes, either academically or through internships.
  • Experience with tools like Postman, Power Automate, or scripting for basic automation tasks.
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Infor Birst).
