Job Summary:

Join our start-up as the Medium Duty Truck Sales Manager. You will be responsible for leading the sales operations of the pre-owned medium duty truck department, ensuring profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and alignment with dealership goals. This role involves managing the sales team, developing business relationships with commercial clients, overseeing inventory, and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share. This is a prime opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader with expertise in commercial vehicle sales to shape our future. Expected income to be starting in the low $100,000's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a sales team to meet ambitious sales targets for pre-owned medium duty trucks.
  • Develop sales strategies tailored to local industries, including construction, landscaping, and delivery services.
  • Build and maintain relationship with business and fleets in Southwest Florida.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to position our pre-owned inventory competitively.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to foster trust and repeat business.
  • Oversee inventory management, pricing, and negotiations to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create efficient sales processes for our start-up.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, preferably with pre-owned medium duty trucks.
  • Proven leadership in a sales-driven or start-up environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-owned truck specifications, maintenance histories, and applications.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid (insurable) driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft office.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
