Who are the San Antonio Gunslingers?

Now gearing up for our 6th season, the San Antonio Gunslingers are the city’s own professional Indoor Football team. We deliver fast-paced, hard-hitting indoor football action wrapped in a family-friendly atmosphere that keeps everyone on their feet.

Our season runs from March through July, with eight electrifying home games hosted at the historic Freeman Coliseum. Each game brings a unique theme night experience, packed with entertainment, fan contests, and plenty of chances to take home prizes and free Gunslingers gear.

Position Description

The San Antonio Gunslingers are looking for a dynamic individual to grow our ticket sales efforts. The Director of Ticketing will work closely with the President and Vice President on all aspects of ticketing, including ticket inventory management and customer service related to ticket sales. This position will manage Season Ticket subscriptions, group ticket sales and single game ticket promotions. The Director of Ticketing will also be responsible for managing ticketing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all aspects of Gunslingers ticket management
  • Develop customer service and operations training plans for all ticketing staff and interns
  • Manage season ticket subscriptions throughout the year including working with customers who have monthly payment issues for their subscriptions
  • Research and identify potential categories and specific companies to target group ticket sales via direct, phone contact, networking and events
  • Assist the Directory of Marketing on strategies to use vouchers and ticket promotions to increase game attendance throughout the season
  • Maintain open dialogue with the box office personnel regarding ticket pricing and promotions
  • Assist Senior Management in the creation and management of the annual department budget
  • Act as senior management available for customer service inquiries and escalated customer issues
  • Help plan and execute weekly ticket operations meetings
  • Manage the interview and selection process for ticketing services positions
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • Capability to create reports and report various trends throughout season
  • Strong math aptitude and ability to attend to detail
  • Proven effective management of multiple related areas
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a staff to execute all ticketing objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate multi-faceted plans and issues
  • Demonstrated sound organizational and personal interface skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive self and staff to reach target goals and objectives
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during the season
  • Knowledge of the Ticketmaster and Archtics ticketing systems a plus
