Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all accounting operations: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with speed and precision
  • Ensure GAAP compliance and prepare audit-ready financial statements
  • Design and implement scalable accounting systems and internal controls
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Oversee tax filings, regulatory compliance, and investor reporting
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
  • Build and mentor a lean, high-performing accounting team

Qualifications:

  • CPA required
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP, equity accounting, and revenue recognition
  • Familiarity with modern ERP/accounting platforms and financial systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • High integrity, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills
