Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Lead daily operations across service and maintenance teams.
- Oversee inspection, testing, and emergency response for fire protection systems.
- Coordinate service appointments and system installations with clients and field crews.
- Team & Client Communication
- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding service issues and performance.
- Resolve concerns, present reports, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Hire, lead, schedule, and train a team of fire protection technicians.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight
- Manage vendor contracts, negotiate terms, and monitor deliverables.
- Review subcontractor performance and approve invoices while maintaining budgets.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local fire safety regulations.
- Conduct audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Create and update safety protocols for service teams.
- Budget & Equipment Management
- Develop and maintain department budgets and control costs.
- Oversee purchasing and maintenance of fire protection equipment and materials.
- Strategic Planning
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices.
- Monitor industry trends, technology changes, and regulatory updates.
- Execute strategic goals to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Additional Duties
- Travel to job sites as necessary.
- Perform other duties to support organizational success.
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced education or fire safety certifications are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in fire protection services, including supervisory responsibility.
- 5+ years of experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems, NFPA codes, and compliance requirements.
- Fire Safety certifications required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field service software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Willing and able to travel to multiple project sites.
