Description
SHINE Technologies is seeking a Director of Supply Chain and Logistics to oversee all aspects of supply chain operations—from sourcing materials to the ultimate delivery of medical isotopes—ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role develops strategies to optimize key processes, achieve organizational KPIs, and collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Radiation Protection, and Sales to maintain consistent production and shipment.
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Duties And Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities of the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics include, but are not limited to:

Duties And Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities of the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics include, but are not limited to:
- Define and steer supply chain and logistic strategies that align with business goals in areas of cost optimization, improved efficiency and product reliability.
- Develop and implement processes for the Logistics and Supply Chain teams as well as cross-functional processes to improve handoff between Production, Operations, Engineering, and Sales.
- Implement and utilize data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance, trends, forecasts, and inventory and distribution requirements to ensure supply chain resilience.
- Anticipate supplier interruptions and react accordingly.
- Ensures positive vendor relationships and participates in vendor negotiations to obtain optimal contracts and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with security regulations, Radiation Protection policies, GDP, and industry best practices to ensure filling orders of sensitive pharmaceutical products.
- Understand logistics network, and strategic planning for global compliance.
- Responsible for team management and growth by motivating and coaching the team to achieve operational success.
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams and acts as liaison to upper management.
- Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment.
- Able to perform the above duties and tasks in relation to project timelines with critical delivery dates
- Work with senior leadership to determine the appropriate strategy for the supply chain and logistics department to support the growth of the division.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or years of experience preferred
- A minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience
- Experience with shipping Hazmat Class 7 radioactive materials is preferred
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and manage multiple priorities; be deadline-oriented.
- Ability to work in a team environment and drive change
- Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 40 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
