Essential Functions
- Participate in pre-construction planning and project estimating.
- Draft contracts, subcontractor agreements, and manage material procurement and supplier purchase orders.
- Review and process project submittals for approval.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Track and monitor job costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Lead progress meetings with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project-level accounting, including change orders and cost adjustments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate resolution of design changes and RFIs.
- Ensure projects are completed safely and in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Continuously develop professional skills, including leadership and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and issue identification.
- Ability to handle challenges calmly and collaboratively.
- Openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Strong time management and ability to balance competing priorities.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager or Estimator.
- Preference for candidates with General Contractor experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Experience with Sage 300 Estimating/Project Management, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam preferred.
